Government Budget Management studies public budget theory, fiscal transparency, rule of law for the budget, budget supervision by the national congress, government accounting， and government fiscal report. Government Budget Management is one of the key research fields in public finance of CUFE. Over the years, the teaching and research team has maintained its strength through a good mix of senior and junior members. In recent years, the team has delivered outstanding performance in research.  

The team is committed to studying topics related to modern budget system, including what are the implications and features of modern budget system, how to set the goals and design the blueprint for such a system, what is the path to build the system, etc. The team takes Center for China Fiscal Development as its platform to mobilize resources, serves as the decision-making consultant and offer suggestions and advices to help build China’s modern fiscal system and budget system.
